Quick Turkey Salad Sandwich Recipe - Cooking Index
Roasted turkey breast is wonderfully low in fat, but high in flavor. Here it's spiced up with red onion and balsamic vinegar.
Courses: Sandwiches3/4 oz | 21g | Roasted turkey breast |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fat-free sour cream |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Reduced-fat mayonnaise |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Chopped red onion |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Balsamic vinegar |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1 | Dried rosemary leaves | |
= (or 1/4 tspn fresh rosemary) | ||
1/2 | Oat bran English muffin - toasted |
Cut the turkey into very small bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
In a small bowl, stir together the sour cream, mayonnaise, onion, vinegar, salt, pepper, and rosemary. Stir in the turkey.
Mound the mixture on an English muffin half.
