Layered Vanilla Yogurt Parfaits Recipe - Cooking Index
3 cups | 711ml | Plain nonfat yogurt |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Vanilla extract |
3 teaspoons | 15ml | Fructose |
1 | Banana - sliced | |
1 cup | 237ml | Halved green grapes |
1 cup | 237ml | Sliced strawberries |
1/4 cup | 10g / 0.4oz | Grapenuts cereal |
In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, vanilla, and fructose. Place a bottom layer of the yogurt mixture in parfait, wine, or champagne glasses.
In another bowl, combine the fruits. Add a layer of fruit on top of the yogurt. Continue layering the yogurt and fruit until each glass has three layers, ending with yogurt.
Top each parfait with a sprinkle of Grapenuts cereal. Chill until ready to serve.
This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup yogurt with 1/2 cup fruit.
