Bananas Flambe Recipe - Cooking Index
6 cups | 1422ml | Ripe bananas - peeled, sliced (small) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Low-calorie margarine |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Allspice |
2 oz | 56g | Dark rum |
3 cups | 711ml | Sugar-free low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt |
Melt the margarine in a skillet. Add the bananas and sprinkle with the sugar and allspice. Saute until bananas are browned.
Add the rum and ignite with a long match. When the flames die down, serve bananas with vanilla yogurt.
This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1 banana with 1/2 cup yogurt.
