Healthy Coleslaw

Most people don't realize that cabbage is a very nutritious food. Make coleslaw is probably the easiest way to get its cancer-fighting properties.

Recipe Ingredients

  Dressing
1 cup 237mlNon-fat plain yogurt
1/4 cup 59mlApple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon 15mlHoney
  Slaw
1   Green cabbage head - (abt 1 lb) - shredded (small)
1/2 cup 55g / 1.9ozShredded carrot
1 tablespoon 15mlPoppy seeds
1/4 cup 40g / 1.4ozRaisins or currants

Recipe Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the dressing ingredients. Add the cabbage, carrots, poppy seeds, and raisins. Mix well until the dressing completely coats the cabbage.

This recipe yields 8 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.
