Healthy Coleslaw Recipe - Cooking Index
Most people don't realize that cabbage is a very nutritious food. Make coleslaw is probably the easiest way to get its cancer-fighting properties.

1 cup | 237ml | Non-fat plain yogurt |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Apple cider vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
Slaw | ||
1 | Green cabbage head - (abt 1 lb) - shredded (small) | |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Shredded carrot |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Poppy seeds |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Raisins or currants |
In a large bowl, combine the dressing ingredients. Add the cabbage, carrots, poppy seeds, and raisins. Mix well until the dressing completely coats the cabbage.
This recipe yields 8 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.
