Fresh Fruit In Raspberry Grand Marnier Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
Use this raspberry sauce to whirl into plain yogurt or cottage cheese, too.
Type: Fruit1 cup | 237ml | Fresh raspberries |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Orange juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Grated orange rind |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Sliced strawberries |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Green grapes |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Grand Marnier |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
Puree the raspberries in the blender, using a little water if necessary. Strain to remove any seeds. Add the orange juice, lemon juice, and orange rind to the puree.
Toss the strawberries and grapes with the Grand Marnier and sugar. Let marinate for 1 hour.
To serve, place the strawberries and grapes in six individual dessert dishes. Pour equal portions of raspberry sauce on top.
This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.
