Creamy Chocolate Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 27g / 1oz | Unsweetened cocoa powder |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vegetable oil |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Low-fat (1%) milk |
4 oz | 113g | Reduced-fat cream cheese - softened |
1 | Container frozen light whipped topping - ( - thawed | |
1 | Reduced-fat 9" graham cracker pie crust |
In a large bowl, combine the cocoa powder and oil. Add the sugar and milk; mix with a spoon until smooth.
Add the cream cheese and beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. With a spoon, fold in the whipped topping until well blended.
Pour into the pie crust, cover loosely, and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
This recipe yields 8 servings. Serving size: 1 wedge.
