Fresh Cherry Clafouti Recipe - Cooking Index
| Vegetable cooking spray | ||
| 1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Pitted sweet cherries |
| 2/3 cup | 157ml | Nonfat buttermilk |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Sugar |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | All-purpose flour |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Brandy |
| 1 | Egg - lightly beaten | |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Powdered sugar |
Coat 2 (5-ounce) ramekins or custard cups with cooking spray. Place 1/4 cup cherries into each ramekin; set aside. Combine buttermilk and next 4 ingredients, stirring with a wire whisk until well blended. Pour evenly over cherries.
Place ramekins on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or until puffed and set.
Sprinkle the top of each with 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar.
