Shredded Wheat Snack Mix Recipe - Cooking Index
The party's at your house and you don't want to serve the same old bag of chips and dip. But you don't want to spend a lot of time preparing appetizers either. Here's a snack that's satisfying and so good that folks won't stop eating it until it's all gone!
Courses: Snacks4 cups | 160g / 5.6oz | Nabisco Shredded Wheat Spoon Size Cereal |
1 cup | 237ml | Small unsalted pretzels |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Popped popcorn (not buttered or salted) |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Parkay Spread Sticks - melted |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Seasoned salt |
Heat oven to 300 degrees.
Mix cereal, pretzels, and popcorn in 15- by 10- by 1-inch baking pan. Mix spread, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoned salt in small bowl. Drizzle evenly over cereal mixture; toss to coat.
Bake 30 minutes or until crisp, stirring halfway through baking time. To cook using a microwave, pour mixture into large microwavable bowl. Microwave on High 5 to 6 minutes or until crisp, stirring halfway through cooking time.
Cool. Store in tightly covered containers.
This recipe yields 12 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.
