Black Bean Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 1/2 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Cooked black beans |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Hot salsa |
| 2 | Scallions - minced | |
| 2 | Garlic cloves - minced | |
| 1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Low-fat cottage cheese |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Tabasco sauce |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Cumin |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Coriander |
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add a little water, if necessary, to blend mixture thoroughly.
This recipe yields 12 servings. Serving size: 2 tablespoon.
