Figs Stuffed With Almonds And Chips Recipe - Cooking Index
6 cups | 1422ml | Figs or dates (medium) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mini chocolate chips |
1/4 cup | 23g / 0.8oz | Toasted slivered almonds |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Orange liqueur |
= (or Marsala wine) |
Combine chocolate chips, almonds, and wine.
Cut each fig in half. Spoon about 2 teaspoon of the stuffing mixture into each fig half. (If you cannot find fresh figs, use dried figs. Cut a little opening in the top of the fig and make a pocket for the stuffing.)
Bake at 350 degrees on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes.
