2 cups | 474ml | Sliced fresh strawberries |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Almond extract |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sugar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Lemon juice |
1 cup | 237ml | Low-calorie whipped topping |
1/4 cup | 23g / 0.8oz | Toasted almond slivers |
Combine the berries, extract, sugar, and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Let the mixture stand at room temperature for 20 minutes. This is so the berries will absorb more juice and become quite flavorful.
In parfait glasses, layer the whipped topping and strawberries. Top each serving with almonds.
