Quick French Onion Soup Recipe - Cooking Index
6 | Beef bouillon cubes | |
5 cups | 1185ml | Boiling water |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Worcestershire sauce |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Sliced onion rings |
6 cups | 1422ml | Melba toast rounds (small) |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Grated Parmesan cheese |
Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Add Worcestershire sauce and onion rings. Cover and simmer gently for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve in warmed bowls with 1 melba toast round plus 1 1/2 teaspoons Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top of each.
This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1 cup.
