Lite Pecan Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
Crust | ||
1 1/4 cups | 182g / 6.4oz | Crushed graham crackers |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Light margarine |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cold water |
Filling | ||
3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Egg substitute |
Enough brown sugar substitute to | ||
Replace 1 cup of brown sugar | ||
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Light margarine - melted |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
2 cups | 474ml | Pecan pieces |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
To prepare the crust, combine crushed graham crackers, margarine and water and press into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Bake crust for 5 minutes. Remove crust from oven and set aside.
To prepare filling, mix egg substitute, brown sugar substitute and melted light margarine. Add vanilla and mix. Add pecan pieces and mix.
Pour filling into crust and bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool and serve at room temperature.
