Cocktail Meatballs Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Very lean ground beef |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Egg - beaten |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Condensed beef broth |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground allspice |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Grated lemon rind |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Fresh lemon juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 | Fresh bread - finely crumbled | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Finely-chopped onion |
Non-stick pan spray - as needed |
Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
Prepare a shallow baking pan with vegetable pan-coating; set it aside. Combine all ingredients; mix well.
Form into tiny balls, each measuring 1 level teaspoonful. Place balls 1 inch apart in pan. Bake 10 minutes.
This recipe yields 80 meatballs. Serving size: 4 tiny meatballs.
