Berries With Italian Cream Recipe - Cooking Index
This delectable dessert is reminiscent of Italian cannoli, but has much less fat.
Type: Fruit3 cups | 711ml | Sliced fresh strawberries or raspberries |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
1 | Part-skim ricotta cheese - (15 oz) | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Grand Marnier |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Grated orange peel |
In a medium bowl, mix together the berries and the sugar. Set aside.
With an electric beater, beat together the remaining ingredients until light and fluffy.
Divide berries among dessert dishes. Top each serving with a portion of the cream.
This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.
