BBQ Beef For Sandwiches

Recipe Ingredients

2 1/2 lbs 1135g / 40ozLean chuck or bottom round roast - (to 3) - trimmed
1 1/2 cups 355mlKetchup
1/4 cup 40g / 1.4ozBrown sugar - (packed)
1/4 cup 59mlRed wine vinegar
2 tablespoons 30mlDijon mustard
2 tablespoons 30mlWorcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon 5mlLiquid smoke flavoring
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlFreshly-ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlGarlic powder
6   Sandwich buns - (to 8)

Recipe Instructions

Place roast in crockpot. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over roast. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.

Remove roast, shred meat. Place shredded meat back in crockpot; stir to coat well. Spoon onto sandwich buns with extra sauce, if desired.

This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
