Barbecued Bean Soup Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Great Northern beans - soaked |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Onion - chopped (medium) |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Beef short ribs |
6 cups | 1422ml | Water |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Barbecue sauce |
Place all ingredients in crockpot except barbecue sauce. Cover and cook on LOW 10 to 16 hours.
Before serving, remove short ribs and cut meat from bones. Return meat to crockpot. Stir in barbecue sauce before serving.
