Oriental Chicken Wings Recipe - Cooking Index

| 12 oz | 340g | Soy sauce | 
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Vinegar | 
| 10 lbs | 4540g / 160oz | Chicken wings | 
| 42 oz | 1193g | Barbecue sauce | 
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Chili paste with garlic | 
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Honey | 
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground ginger | 
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Oriental 5-spice powder | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vegetable oil | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Water | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper | 
| 1 | Green onions - chopped | 
Combine water, soy sauce and vinegar; stir in chicken wings. Marinate chicken wings at least 1 hour. Combine barbecue sauce, chili paste, honey, ginger and five-spice powder; stir to blend.
Brown wings in oil and water; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place wings in slow cooker. Pour barbecue sauce on top and cook on HIGH for 4 to 6 hours. Garnish with green onions.
This recipe yields about 50 servings.
