Recipe Ingredients

2 lbs 908g / 32ozGround pork
1   Tomato sauce - (15 oz)
1 1/2 cups 93g / 3.3ozChopped onion
1   Pizza sauce - (8 oz)
3   Garlic cloves - minced
2 tablespoons 30mlVinegar
1 tablespoon 15mlWorcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlFennel seed
  Few dashes hot pepper sauce
15   Individual hard rolls - split
3 cups 438g / 15ozShredded mozzarella cheese

Recipe Instructions

In large skillet quickly brown half the pork at a time; drain well. Transfer meat to crockery cooker. Stir in tomato sauce, onion, pizza sauce, garlic, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, fennel, and hot pepper sauce. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.

Fill hard rolls with meat mixture; sprinkle mozzarella atop.

This recipe yields 15 sandwiches.
