Lois' Corn-Potato Chowder Recipe - Cooking Index
6 | Crisp cooked bacon - crumbled | |
4 | Potatoes - peeled, diced (medium) | |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Minced onions |
1 | Cream corn - (16 oz) | |
2 | Chicken broth - (13 3/4 oz ea) | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1 | Evaporated milk - (13 oz) |
Place all ingredients except milk in a crock pot. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
Add milk and cook covered for another 30 to 45 minutes.
This recipe yields 2 quarts.
