Hamburger Soup Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean ground beef |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Oregano |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Basil |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Seasoned salt |
1 | Dry onion soup mix | |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Grated Parmesan cheese |
3 cups | 711ml | Boiling water |
1 | Tomato sauce - (8 oz) | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Soy sauce |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Celery - sliced |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Carrots - sliced |
1 cup | 237ml | Macaroni - cooked, drained |
Crumble uncooked hamburger into slow cooker. Add pepper, oregano, basil, seasoned salt, onion soup mix. Stir in water, tomato sauce and soy sauce; then add celery and carrots. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
Turn control to HIGH and add cooked macaroni and Parmesan cheese. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
