Smoked Sausage Stew

Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozSmoked sausage - cut in 1/2" slices
3 lbs 1362g / 48ozPotatoes - (to 4) - cut into 1" cubes (medium)
1   Green peas - (15 oz) - undrained
1   Chopped tomatoes - (15 oz) - undrained
  (may use plain, Italian seasoned, etc.)
1   French onion soup
  (or 2 cubes beef boullion, 2 tbspns onion
  Flakes and 1 1/2 cups water)

Recipe Instructions

Dump it all in the crockpot and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours.

The original recipe called for canned french onion soup, but to cut down on sodium, you may substitute low-salt boullion, onion flakes and water.
