1 | Onion - chopped | |
1 | Parsnip - sliced | |
3 | Potatoes - cubed | |
3 | Carrots - sliced (medium) | |
1/2 | Rutabaga - peeled and cubed | |
1 | Whole tomatoes - (18 oz) | |
3 | Beef bouillon cubes | |
3 cups | 711ml | Water |
1/2 | Cabbage head - cut in chunks | |
1 | Bay leaf | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Oregano |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt - or to taste |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
Brown meat and onions. Add to crockpot with the remaining ingredients and cook, covered, on HIGH for 1 hour. simmer on LOW for 2 to 3 hours.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
