3 | Ripe tomatoes - diced (large) | |
1 | Fresh jalapeño pepper - diced | |
3 | Green chilies - (4 1/2 oz ea) - chopped | |
1 | Green onions - chopped tip to tip | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper - (to 1 1/2) |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Cooking oil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chili powder - (to 1) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic salt - (to 1 1/2) |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Chopped cilantro - (to 4) (optional) |
In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients; stir. Refrigerate. Can be stored for up to three days. The longer the mixture sits, the hotter it becomes.
