Steak And Ale's Sauteed Mushrooms Recipe - Cooking Index
This is an easy to make appeitzer. You can make a larger quanity of this, and place in a crock pot for serving at a larger party.

4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Margarine |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped onion |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Beef base |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garilc powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1 cup | 237ml | Red Burgundy wine |
Wash mushrooms in hot water. Melt together the butter and margarine, add beef base, onion, garlic powder and black pepper. Simmer mushrooms in butter mixture until soft. Add red burgandy wine.
