Recipe Ingredients

1   Salt
1   Freshly-ground white pepper
1 teaspoon 5mlSesame oil
3   Ginger - smashed
3   Green onion stalks - smashed
4   Fish fillets - (serving size)
  Garnish
2 tablespoons 30mlJulienned green onions
2 tablespoons 30mlJulienned peeled fresh ginger
1 oz 28gOil - heated
2 oz 56gSauce (see below)
  Cilantro sprigs - for garnish
  Sauce
8 oz 227gSoy sauce
10 oz 284gChicken stock
2 oz 56gSugar

Recipe Instructions

Top fish with above ingredients before steaming. Cook fish 7 to 10 minutes, making sure fish doesn't overcook.

Garnish Instructions: Remove fish to serving plate. Cover with ginger and green onions. Spread the heated oil over the top to sizzle into the vegetables and fish. Distribute the sauce over the fish. Garnish with cilantro sprigs.

Sauce Instructions: Mix soy sauce, chicken stock and sugar.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
