French's Classic Yellow Mustard Recipe - Cooking Index
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Dry ground mustard |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | White distilled vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Wondra flour |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt - plus |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Turmeric |
1 | Garlic powder | |
1 | Paprika |
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until smooth. When mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often.
Remove pan from heat and cover until cool. Chill in a covered container.
This recipe yields 1/4 cup.
