Ripe Tomato Relish Recipe - Cooking Index
| 24 | Ripe tomatoes - peeled, chopped | |
| 6 | Sweet peppers - chopped | |
| 6 | Hot peppers - chopped | |
| 8 | Onions - chopped | |
| 2 1/2 cups | 495g / 17oz | Sugar |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Allspice |
| 1 | Vinegar | |
| 3 teaspoons | 15ml | Salt |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Celery salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Cloves |
Combine all ingredients, cook, stirring often, until thick (4 to 5 hours). Put into sterile jars and seal.
