Betty Carter's Refrigerator Pickles

Recipe Ingredients

12 lbs 5448g / 192ozVery small cucumbers
1   Onion - sliced
4 cups 792g / 27ozSugar
4 cups 948mlVinegar
1/2 cup 118mlSalt
1 1/3 tablespoons 19mlCelery seed
1 1/3 tablespoons 19mlMustard seed
1 1/3 teaspoons 6.7mlTurmeric

Recipe Instructions

Slice cucumbers and onion and place in gallon jars. Mix remaining ingredients well. Pour mixture over cucumbers. Screw lids on tightly. Place in refrigerator. Let stand 5 days before tasting. Will keep for a year.
