Cinnamon Apple Rings

Recipe Ingredients

18		Tart apples - cored, peeled
6 cups	1188g / 41oz	Sugar
3 cups	711ml	Water
9 oz	255g	Red cinnamon candies
3		Red food color

Recipe Instructions

Cut cored, peeled apples in rings. Combine sugar, water, cinnamon candies and food color. Bring to a boil, boil 3 minutes. Add apples to syrup, cook until transparent.

Pack in hot jars. Cover with syrup. Adjust lids. Process in boiling water bath for 25 minutes.
