Cinnamon Apple Rings Recipe - Cooking Index
18 | Tart apples - cored, peeled | |
6 cups | 1188g / 41oz | Sugar |
3 cups | 711ml | Water |
9 oz | 255g | Red cinnamon candies |
3 | Red food color |
Cut cored, peeled apples in rings. Combine sugar, water, cinnamon candies and food color. Bring to a boil, boil 3 minutes. Add apples to syrup, cook until transparent.
Pack in hot jars. Cover with syrup. Adjust lids. Process in boiling water bath for 25 minutes.
