Sweet-And-Sour Hot Slaw Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cabbage - shredded (medium) |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Chopped onion |
3/4 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Chopped green pepper |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
1 cup | 237ml | White vinegar |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Celery seeds |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Paprika |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground red pepper |
Combine vegetables. Combine sugar and remaining ingredients; stir sugar mixture into vegetables. Cover and chill. Drain; spoon into a serving bowl.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
