Savory Vegetable Smoothie

Serves: 2 people

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup 237mlPlain yogurt
6   Ice cubes
1   Cucumber - peeled, seeded,
  And roughly chopped
1   Tomato (small)
1   Celery stalk - chopped
  A few spinach or romaine leaves
1 tablespoon 15mlMinced onion - (optional)
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

Recipe Instructions

Puree all ingredients in a blender, garnish with a cucumber round, and enjoy.

This recipe yields 2 servings.

Description:

"On-the-go eaters love smoothies. A smoothie doesn't have to be

sweet. In this version the cucumber provides some of the body bananas

do in a fruit version."
