1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
9 tablespoons | 135ml | Oil - divided |
8 oz | 227g | Yogurt |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 1/4 cups | 78g / 2.8oz | Flour |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Bran |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine |
8 oz | 227g | Maple syrup |
In a large bowl, beat egg and egg whites until frothy. Beat in milk, 3 tablespoons oil, yogurt, honey, and vanilla. Stir together dry ingredients. Add to liquid mixture, mixing well.
Grease griddle with remaining oil as needed. Spoon onto a hot, greased griddle, cooking until browned on both sides.
Serve with margarine and maple syrup.
