Cheddar Pancakes Recipe - Cooking Index
8 oz | 227g | Cheddar cheese - grated |
3 | Egg yolks | |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Sour cream |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Thyme |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dry mustard |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Butter |
In a medium bowl, combine grated cheddar cheese, egg yolks, and sour cream; mixing well after each addition. Add flour, salt, thyme, and dry mustard.
Melt butter in a skillet over low heat and pour batter into skillet. Cook over medium heat until lightly browned on the bottom. Loosen the edges with a spatula, turn and lightly brown the other side.
This recipe yields 6 pancakes.
