Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix For A Crowd

Recipe Ingredients

		Cookie Mix
9 cups	562g / 19oz	Flour
4 teaspoons	20ml	Baking soda
2 teaspoons	10ml	Salt
3 cups	480g / 16oz	Packed brown sugar
3 cups	594g / 20oz	Sugar
4 cups	792g / 27oz	Shortening
		Cookies
7 cups	770g / 27oz	Cookie mix
1 teaspoon	5ml	Vanilla extract
2		Eggs - beaten
12 oz	340g	Semisweet chocolate chips

Recipe Instructions

MIX: Thoroughly combine dry ingredients; cut in shortening until crumbly.

Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place up to 6 months.

TO MAKE COOKIES: Combine mix, vanilla and eggs; mix well. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls 1/2" apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to cool on wire racks.
