Baked Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe - Cooking Index
Pancakes that everyone can eat at the same time! Serve alongside maple syrup and crisp bacon.

1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter - melted |
1 1/2 cups | 93g / 3.3oz | Flour |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking soda |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 3/4 cups | 414ml | Buttermilk |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Powdered sugar |
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray an 8-inch pie plate with vegetable cooking spray. In a large bowl combine egg with melted butter; whisk until well combined.
Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a small bowl; combine with egg mixture. Pour in buttermilk and stir until just combined. Transfer into prepared pie plate and bake for 25 minutes or until set and lightly browned on top. Let sit for 5 mintues; sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into wedges. Serve warm.
