Cornmeal Mush Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Cornmeal |
3 cups | 711ml | Water - boiling |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Brown sugar - (firmly packed) |
1/4 cup | 59ml | 2% milk |
Combine cornmeal and boiling water in a large microwave-safe bowl; stir well, cover and microwave on High for 2 minutes, remove and stir.
Cook again on Medium for 2 minutes; stir again, then serve hot with brown sugar and milk.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
