Cinnamon-Cherry Coffeecake Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Cherry fruit filling - (21 oz) | |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Light brown sugar - (firmly packed) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Ground cinnamon |
4 | Refrigerated biscuits - (10 count) | |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Butter or margarine - melted |
Scoop fruit filling into a lightly greased 10-cup tube pan; set aside.
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
Separate biscuits. Press each biscuit flat, dip in butter, and dredge in brown sugar mixture. Arrange in layers, flat-sides down, over fruit filling.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes; invert onto a serving plate.
This recipe yields 1 (10-inch) cake.
