3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Old-fashioned oats |
1 cup | 237ml | Wheat bran |
1 cup | 237ml | Wheat germ |
1/2 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Almonds |
= (or pecans or walnuts) | ||
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Pumpkin seeds |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Sunflower seeds |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Honey |
1/3 cup | 53g / 1.9oz | Brown sugar |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Orange juice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Melted butter |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cinnamon |
Mix oats, wheat bran, wheat germ, nuts, and seeds in large bowl.
In small bowl mix honey, brown sugar, orange juice, butter, and cinnamon.
Pour honey mixture onto oats mixture and stir well.
Bake in a 275 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every fifteen minutes.
This recipe yields 7 1/2 cups granola.
