1 | Loaf frozen bread dough | |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Bulk sausage |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - copped (medium) |
Saute sausage and onion, drain off fat.
Gently pat bread out to form a rectangle. Spread sausage within 1 inch of edges. Roll dough in jelly roll fashion. Pinch gently to seal ends.
Place seam-side down in 9- by 5-inch greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack before cutting.
This recipe yields 1 loaf.
