Poached Eggs Recipe - Cooking Index
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Eggs (large) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Vinegar |
Heat water 1 1/2 inches deep in a frying pan to just simmer (bubbles forming on bottom of pan). Add vinegar. Carefully break each egg into water. Simmer gently for 3 to 5 minutes or until whites are firm. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve on toast.
This recipe yields 2 servings.
