Mexican Hot Chocolate Recipe - Cooking Index
| 4 oz | 113g | Unsweetened chocoalte |
| 1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cinnamon |
| 2 | Milk | |
| 8 | Cinnamon sticks | |
| Whipped cream - (optional) |
Combine ingredients in the top of a double boiler. Cook over hot water until chocolate is melted. Beat with a wire whisk until hot and foamy.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
Tip: Whipping the milk as it heats prevents "skin" from forming on top.
