Honey Granola Recipe - Cooking Index
4 cups | 250g / 8.8oz | Old-fashioned rolled oats |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Coarsely-chopped nuts |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Golden raisins |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Honey |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter or margarine |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Ground cinnamon |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 | Salt |
Combine oats, nuts and raisins in a large bowl; mix well and set aside. Combine honey, butter, cinnamon, vanilla and salt in a saucepan; bring to a boil over high heat and boil 1 minute.
Pour honey mixture over oat mixture; toss until well blended. Spread on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 20 minutes or until lightly browned; stir every 5 minutes. Cool.
Crumble and store at room temperature in airtight container up to 2 weeks.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
