Baked Applesauce Granola Recipe - Cooking Index
Served warm with a cream or yogurt topping. This delicious dish is a complete breakfast.
Courses: Dessert2 cups | 474ml | Applesauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Nutmeg |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar |
1/3 cup | 53g / 1.9oz | Raisins - soaked, drained |
1 cup | 237ml | Granola |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Wheat germ |
Yogurt or sour cream - for topping |
In a small oven-proof bowl, mix applesauce, cinnamon nutmeg, brown sugar and raisins. Cover applesauce mixture with a layer of granola and sprinkle with wheat germ. Bake 20 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Top each serving with a dollop of yogurt or sour cream.
