Apple Molasses Breakfast Cookies Recipe - Cooking Index
This is a moist cookie that will last several days in the cookie jar if you can keep them around that long!
Courses: Dessert1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
1 | Egg - beaten | |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Whole-wheat flour |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Wheat germ |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking soda |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Oatmeal |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Apple juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Apple - peeled, chopped (small) = (abt 1/2 cup) |
In a medium bowl, cream margarine and sugars. Add egg and stir to combine.
Sift together flour, wheat germ, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in apple juice and chopped apple.
Drop by tablespoons onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 13 minutes.
