Albertina's Brown Sugar Muffins Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Brown sugar |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter |
1 | Egg | |
1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Soda |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Flour |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Nuts - chopped |
12 teaspoons | 60ml | Vanilla |
In a medium bowl, cream sugar and butter. Add egg and milk, stirring well to combine.
In another bowl, stir salt, baking soda, baking powder and flour. Add to sugar mixture. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Fill slightly greased, sprayed or paper lined muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 25 minutes.
