Spelt Bread II Recipe - Cooking Index
This bread is made with spelt flour. It is wheat free, but does contain gluten. Spelt and lecithan can be purchased at health food stores.
Courses: Breads1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Vegetable oil |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Honey |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Lecithan granules |
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Spelt flour |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Powdered milk |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Active dry yeast |
Place ingredients in bread pan in the order suggested by your machine's manufacturer. Bake on normal or basic cycle.
This recipe yields a 1 1/2 pound loaf.
