4 oz | 113g | Milk |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 | Egg - beaten | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter or margarine |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
2 1/2 cups | 156g / 5.5oz | Bread flour |
2 1/4 teaspoons | 11ml | Active dry yeast |
Herb Mixture | ||
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter or margarine - melted |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Paprika |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Grated Parmesan cheese |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried onion |
All ingredients to be at room temperature (70 to 80 degrees). Use breadmaker's Dough setting
Measure all ingredients for the dough into the bread pan. Select DOUGH setting. Press START button. When cycle is complete remove dough.
In a small bowl combine Herb Mixture ingredients in the order listed. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Divide dough into 12 to 16 equal parts and roll into balls. Dip each ball into the herb mixture and arrange in greased loaf pan. Cover with cloth and let rise in a draft-free place until doubled in size (about 30 to 35 minutes). Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
This recipe yields 12 to 16 rolls.
