European Black Bread

Recipe Ingredients

7/8 cup	207ml	Water
3/4 teaspoon	3.8ml	Cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups	93g / 3.3oz	Bread flour
1/2 cup	31g / 1.1oz	Rye flour
1/4 cup	59ml	Oat bran
1 tablespoon	15ml	Butter or margarine
1 1/2 tablespoons	22ml	White sugar
1 teaspoon	5ml	Salt
1 teaspoon	5ml	Caraway seeds
1 teaspoon	5ml	Dried minced onion
2 tablespoons	30ml	Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon	5ml	Active dry yeast

Recipe Instructions

Place the ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select Normal setting, and then press Start.

This recipe yields a 1 pound loaf.
