Buttermilk Bread II Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Buttermilk |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Butter or margarine |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | White sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Bread flour |
1 1/3 cups | 83g / 2.9oz | Whole-wheat flour |
2 1/4 teaspoons | 11ml | Yeast |
Place buttermilk, butter or margarine, sugar, salt, flour, whole-wheat flour, and yeast into pan of bread machine. Bake on White Bread setting. Cool on wire racks before slicing.
This recipe yields a 1 1/2 pound loaf.
